Axiom Staffing is recruiting for Coater Operators in
Greencastle, PA:
The Coater Operator operates various equipment and controls at the coater area to run to the product specifications at or above the productivity targets: 1. Operate all controls and equipment at the coater area to achieve the required product specifications and productivity targets. 2. Inspect and prepare rolls of films (surface film, release film, selvage film, etc.) and fabric before loading on the production line.
  • Identify/locate any marked splices or defects.
  • Document the required details on the operator log.
  • Communicate quality issues immediately to the supervisor. 3. Splice a new roll of film (surface film, release film, selvage film, etc.) or fabric to the end of an existing roll. 4. Continuously monitor the product in-process for quality and productivity.
  • Take appropriate corrective action as necessary.
  • Communicate any issues immediately to the supervisor 5.
Assist with lacing up the machine when needed. 6. Assist with preventive maintenance and repair work at the plant as needed. 7. Maintain the work area in a clean manner, free of debris. 8. Follow plant safety procedures and practices at all times. 9. The duties listed above may be performed at heights, including but not limited to the following: measuring tank levels, changing light bulbs located on the plant ceiling, cleaning the ceiling, loading ingredients into mix tanks, and accessing equipment on the production line catwalks.
