Job Description

2nd Shift Process Technician Nesco Resource is hiring a 2nd Shift Process Technician in Laurens, SC! We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined candidate with manufacturing experience who is comfortable working with production machinery, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery and equipment. Perform machine changeovers and make necessary process adjustments. Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure efficient operation. Troubleshoot basic mechanical, equipment, and process issues. Identify production problems and make appropriate adjustments to minimize downtime. Perform quality checks and inspect finished products for defects. Verify products meet established quality and production specifications. Monitor machine settings, temperatures, pressures, speeds, and other process parameters. Document production information, quality checks, downtime, and process adjustments. Assist with minor equipment repairs and routine preventive maintenance. Maintain proper material flow and ensure machines have the materials needed for production. Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate equipment, quality, and production concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel. Meet daily production, quality, safety, and efficiency goals. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, machine operation, process technician, or production experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. Experience with machine setup, adjustments, or changeovers is a plus. Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Dependable attendance and ability to work the required 2nd shift schedule. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position. Apply Today!
