Machine Operator / Packer About the opportunity Monday - Friday $18-$21/hr 1st shift 7a-3p 2nd shift 3p-11p 3rd shift 11p-7a HTI has immediate openings for experienced Machine Operators with a global paper packaging manufacturer in Spartanburg, SC. ?Reporting to the Production Team Lead, your primary role will be to ensure consistent production while maintaining high standards of product quality and workplace safety. What you'll need: 2+ years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the paper packaging, cardboard/paperboard manufacturing, or other packaging industries High school diploma or GED Experience with machine set up, entering specification information and making adjustments as needed; experience carrying out minor maintenance tasks is preferred. Previous ERP system and/or PLC data entry for machine setup experience is a plus. Good mechanical aptitude and a preference for hands-on work. A commitment to workplace safety and the ability to lead by example. Ability to work with integrity, display initiative and be a reliable team player. An understanding of and commitment to achieving quality and efficiency targets. What you'll do: Perform machine setup in accordance with product specifications. Maintain machine run speed and efficiency at target levels. Perform quality checks throughout the production process. Record production activities and actively communicate issues to supervisors. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety requirements. Minimize machine downtime through good manufacturing practice. Collaborate with and support team members to improve team performance. ?
