Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with plastic, resin, or metal extrusion, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality control.

Extrusion Machine Operator:

Set up dies, load raw materials into hoppers, and adjust machine controls. Monitor continuous production runs for accurate speed, temperature, and pressure. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools like calipers. Troubleshoot blockages, irregular flow, or shape defects. Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs on equipment. Record production logs and follow strict factory safety rules. Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, climb tower stairs, and perform physical manual labor. Ability to read blueprints or technical manuals.
