Responsibilities:

• Operate laser cutting machines to cut metal sheet and plate according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine job requirements
• Set up and adjust laser cutting machines for optimal performance
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other hand tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficient in operating laser cutting machines and related equipment
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes
• Basic understanding of tooling concepts and applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
