Bilingual Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and bilingual Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or machine operation experience who are looking to grow their career in a stable industrial environment. Responsibilities As a Machine Operator, you will: Safely operate and monitor industrial manufacturing equipment. Inspect machinery and equipment before startup to ensure proper operation. Set up machines and adjust operating parameters according to production specifications. Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production process. Perform routine quality checks and collect product samples as required. Use measuring tools and gauges to verify products meet quality standards. Record production quantities, downtime, scrap, and completed work in SAP or other production systems. Complete production reports and required documentation accurately. Identify equipment or process issues and promptly report them to supervisors or maintenance. Submit maintenance requests when equipment requires repair or preventive maintenance. Assist with machine changeovers and basic troubleshooting. Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles. Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production goals. QualificationsRequired Bilingual in English and Spanish - REQUIRED. At least 1 year of experience operating industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment . Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges. Experience operating overhead cranes. Experience using SAP or other manufacturing/production software. Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production specifications. Basic computer skills and ability to enter production information accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to identify and communicate equipment or production issues. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds . Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and moving machinery. Ability to bend, reach, climb, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 60.0 per week
