SMT Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated equipment used to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards. Job Requirements 2+ years of experience in SMT assembly operations. Experience setting up, operating, and monitoring SMT production equipment. Experience performing machine changeovers and basic equipment troubleshooting. Experience with solder paste screen printing. Experience operating pick-and-place equipment. Experience operating reflow soldering ovens. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and Bills of Materials. Experience verifying product quality against manufacturing procedures and specifications. Knowledge of ESD handling procedures. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to read and understand English-language manufacturing documentation. Preferred Skills Experience supporting inventory control for SMT components and electronic parts. Experience managing product flow through an SMT production line. Experience troubleshooting SMT manufacturing issues. Experience working with 5S manufacturing practices. Experience supporting PCB assembly operations. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate SMT assembly equipment according to production requirements. Monitor SMT equipment and production processes during manufacturing runs. Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting. Operate solder paste screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. Verify PCB assemblies meet applicable specifications and work instructions. Read and follow assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, and manufacturing procedures. Manage product workflow through the SMT production line. Support inventory control and organization of SMT components and materials. Follow ESD handling requirements and established safety procedures. Support investigation and resolution of SMT production and quality issues. Perform routine equipment maintenance as required. Maintain the SMT work area according to 5S standards.
