Position Summary Vitalpax is seeking an experienced Machine Operator with specific stick packing equipment experience to join our Production team. Candidates with direct stick pack machine operating experience may qualify for higher starting pay based on experience. This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting stick pack or encapsulation machinery in a manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently while following batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP requirements, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and assist with troubleshooting stick pack and/or encapsulation equipment. Follow Batch Records (BRs) and production instructions accurately throughout each production run. Monitor equipment performance and make appropriate operating adjustments within established procedures. Complete required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Perform and document line clearance checks, equipment checks, and other required production procedures. Maintain production equipment and surrounding work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Follow cGMP requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Communicate equipment issues, production concerns, and other operational needs to Production Management. Work closely with Production and Quality teams to address production or quality issues. Assist with equipment changeovers, cleaning, and preparation between production runs. Support powder batching or other production areas as needed. Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process. Qualifications & Experience Previous hands-on experience operating stick pack and/or encapsulation machinery strongly preferred. Experience setting up, running, adjusting, or troubleshooting production machinery is highly preferred. Experience in dietary supplement, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing practices is preferred. Ability to read and follow written work instructions, SOPs, and Batch Records. Ability to accurately complete production documentation. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify equipment or production issues. Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a production team. What We're Looking For We are specifically looking for candidates who have experience working directly with stick pack and/or encapsulation machines and understand the importance of equipment operation, quality, accuracy, and documentation in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing and walking throughout the shift and frequent use of hands and arms to operate equipment and handle materials. Employees may occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance. The position may require lifting or moving materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Work Environment This position works primarily in a manufacturing environment and involves regular exposure to operating production equipment and moving mechanical parts. Required personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, is provided.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour, with higher starting pay available for candidates with relevant stick pack machine operating experience.
