Role Overview:
Based in Richmond and Ashland Our team is looking for a reliable and talented Saw Operator / Fabricator to contribute to our production efforts. We need a professional who is comfortable managing manufacturing machinery, interpreting technical blueprints, executing fabrication tasks, and delivering high-quality components that meet precise requirements. Success in this role demands a sharp mechanical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedicated focus on maintaining high-quality output and safety protocols. Core Responsibilities Configure and manage saw equipment to process metal and create necessary components. Analyze technical drawings, work orders, and blueprints to guide production tasks. Utilize tape measures to accurately mark and confirm precise dimensions. Execute various fabrication tasks including drilling, bending, grinding, and assembly to help streamline our production workflow. Verify that all completed items meet our rigorous quality benchmarks and client requirements. Adjust machinery and resolve minor technical issues to ensure consistent operational efficiency. Safely handle the loading and unloading of raw materials and completed goods to support a secure work environment. Required Qualifications At least one year of professional background in manufacturing, metalworking, fabrication, or general machine operation. Proficiency in interpreting complex shop drawings. Proven ability to utilize power tools, hand tools, and various precision measurement devices. Comprehensive knowledge of standard manufacturing procedures and quality assurance practices. Solid mathematical ability to assist in accurate material calculations and measurements. Strong mechanical reasoning and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
