Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Pre Roll Machine Operator and become a vital part of our production process! In this role, you will operate and oversee pre roll machinery to ensure efficient, high-quality output. Your expertise will help us maintain smooth operations, uphold safety standards, and deliver top-tier products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a fast-paced environment where precision and attention to detail are key. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate pre roll machines to produce consistent, high-quality products according to specifications. Monitor machine performance throughout the production shift, making adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols and ensure all machinery is operated in compliance with safety standards in production. Perform quality control checks using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify product specifications. Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and quality inspection logs. Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous workflow and meet daily production targets. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating manufacturing machinery such as press brakes, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and forming machines. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for proper machine setup and operation. Skilled in machining techniques including CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and sheet metal fabrication. Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools for quality inspection. Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations in manufacturing processes. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol procedures. Experience with hand tools, tooling setup, welding, fabrication techniques, and metal forming processes. Capable of interpreting GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precise machining tasks. Ability to operate forklifts when necessary for material handling within the facility.
