Job Description
Industrial Packaging Corporation (IPC) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Honeycomb Core Machine Operator to operate manufacturing equipment used in the production of honeycomb paper core for panel fabrication. This position involves machine operation, material handling, and quality monitoring in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Applicants without prior machine operating experience may be considered if they have a minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience . Forklift experience is strongly recommended , as material handling is a regular part of this role. What To Expect Bring your resume, a photo ID and Social Security Card Meet briefly with a company representative for a same-day interview (plan for 20-30 minutes) Tour of the facility for interested candidates Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate and monitor honeycomb core manufacturing equipment Set up and adjust machine settings to meet production requirements Load raw materials and remove finished products Safely operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and finished goods (strongly recommended experience) Perform in-process quality inspections Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report maintenance needs Accurately complete production and quality documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Comply with all safety rules, policies, and standard operating procedures Work overtime on Fridays as production needs requireQualifications:
Machine operating experience preferred, but not required Applicants without machine operation experience must have at least five (5) years of manufacturing experience Forklift experience strongly recommended (certification a plus; training may be provided) Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment Basic math and measurement skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 10-hour shift Ability to lift, push, or pull materials as required Ability to work safely around moving machinery and industrial equipment English Language Skills Applicants must be able to speak and understand English effectively. Full-time 4 Days a Week 10 Hour Days (4:30am-3:00pm Monday thru Thursday) $18.00/hr. to $21.00/hr. depending on experience.- Job Performance Reviews tied to pay increases will be done every 6 months.
