Job Description

The General Assembly A position is responsible for assembling a variety of assemblies, varying from AquaAir units, large HP fountain units, subassemblies for fountain/lighting orders or inventory to complete final assemblies based on production demands. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble, per drawings and instructions, a variety of units (AquaAir, large (7.5HP-25HP), Fixed Base, and custom units) for orders Process jobs in ERP system for Inventory management Diagnose, disassemble, test, and rebuild compressors while communicating with Product Services Conduct Service School Training sessions as requested Assemble small subassemblies, such as ALC disconnects and wiring harnesses, involving cutting and stripping cable, and potting (epoxying) end as needed per specifications Engrave and assemble nozzles as needed Serial matching for all parts and assemblies as necessary Verify drawing instruction accuracy and communicate changes needed Verify BOM accuracy and communicating discrepancies to have the MRP system run efficiently and accurately Assemble a variety of units or "adders" that are not normally stocked; basically units that are not ½ - 5HP Masters Assist Repairs on replacing large unit components as needed Place assemblies on carts for Quality Inspection, transport with forklift to Shipping, or move into storage location (stocked items) May require working in several different departments as necessary Provide training and guidance to General Assembly B to assist with builds Other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds, and will frequently lift up to 25 pounds, such as moving parts from skid to skid. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. However, some positions may be exposed to hot temperatures in the summer months and cold temperatures in the winter months. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
