Hours worked over 40 per week will be paid at time and a half
Job Description:
  • This is a non-exempt position responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell environment. The role involves detailed assembly, operation of equipment, inspection, testing, and packaging of medical devices in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Work may be performed in a controlled cleanroom environment and will be closely supervised and reviewed to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble medical devices and related components following standardized procedures
  • Perform mechanical, electronic, and adhesive bonding assembly operations
  • Operate manufacturing equipment, including microscopes and computerized test systems
  • Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies
  • Perform testing and troubleshoot/repair devices using appropriate tools
  • Package finished products ensuring accuracy and complete documentation
  • Maintain accurate records for traceability (travelers, shop floor paperwork, quality documents)
  • Clean tools and equipment per procedures and dispose of hazardous materials appropriately
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use required protective equipment
  • Identify and report production issues and material shortages to supervisors
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant manufacturing/assembly experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures (basic English proficiency)
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English
  • Good manual dexterity to handle small components
  • Ability to work with microscopes and precision tools
  • Familiarity with electronic data systems and basic computer software
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions with minimal supervision
