A Medical Assembler builds or assembles medical devices, such as artificial limbs and splints, used in the treatment of injuries or to provide increased physical mobility in patients.
$21.00/Hour Align, calibrate, and execute test methods according to operational plans and customer demand. Read and follow work instructions, SOPs, engineering drawings, work orders, and written/verbal specifications with emphasis on quality. Execute daily production plans, assembly tasks, and work orders while maintaining FDA requirements, GMP, QSR, and ISO compliance. Troubleshoot issues, escalate as necessary, and work cooperatively with cross-functional team members to ensure quality. Identify and recommend improvements related to production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiencies. Maintain training records, production records, paperwork, and accurate work status reports. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and participate in lean manufacturing principles. High school diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years of relevant experience; regulated industry experience preferred. Must read, write, and speak fluent English and have proficiency with Microsoft applications. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, frequently bend, kneel, lift, and sit; lift up to 30 lbs. and perform repetitive hand assembly tasks.
