Madison, Wisconsin, United States Talascend is currently seeking a Medical Device Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Madison, Wisconsin. Overview The role involves assembling, testing, and repairing medical device assemblies, final products, and accessories in compliance with manufacturing documentation and quality regulations. The assembler will perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance tasks while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Assemble, test, and repair work per established work instructions, policies, and procedures.
Perform assembly diagnosis and repair.
Complete all required training in a timely manner.
Maintain an organized and professional workspace.
Notify supervisors and team leads of quality concerns.
Train other production assemblers as needed.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawings.
Communicate with quality and facilities teams regarding product or equipment issues.
Provide guidance in problem diagnosis and resolution with team members.
Assist in development and revisions of SOPs, work instructions, and device history records.
Maintain strong attention to detail while multitasking under strict deadlines.
Comply with EHS and quality procedures, regulations, and policies.
Work scheduled or expanded shifts, including holidays and off-shift duties, as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific field, or associates degree with 2+ years of experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to work independently and motivate staff to meet deadlines.
Problem solving and process improvement skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a cGMP setting and controlled documentation.
SAP skills and experience.
Six Sigma belt or LEAN methodology knowledge. We thank all applicants for their interest.
