Responsibilities
  • Implement and follow 5S program daily
  • Ensure materials are moisture tested and logged on job startups
  • Set up injection molding machines and process/debug existing molds
  • Ensure molds have properly routed water to prevent hose damage
  • Ensure all process monitors are on and tolerances are set correctly
  • Answer alarms in a timely manner
  • Record process changes on the Change Log
  • Write MRO work order for molds, machines, pickers, robots that need work
  • Meet productivity standards and strive to increase productivity
  • Make independent decisions and recommend changes that affect quality/production process
  • Identity and report nonconformities and initiate resolutions
  • Communicate production issues to Production Manager/ Shift Supervisor- reviewing and special instructions, problems or issues that need to be addressed.
  • Complete all labor reporting sheets for assembly work performed each day
  • Perform testing of product, as necessary
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Engineering, as necessary
  • Adhere to all company quality policies and procedures Physical Demands
  • Required to stand for extended periods of time, up to 4 consecutive hours
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, twisting Frequent pushing, pulling and lifting, up to 55lbs Torqueing required, use of tools
  • Frequent climbing, to address machines Requirements
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficient in metric and standard measurement systems
  • Experience with injection molding equipment including, but not limited to, molding machines, chiller systems, thermolators, driers and grinders
  • Experience with 120v-480v, single phase and three phase
  • Experience running three (3) axis servo robots
  • General PC knowledge, Microsoft Office applications

  • 3-5 years set up and processing experience in a manufacturing environment 2nd shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am
