Primary Purpose of Position To work within the Die Cast Department to efficiently and effectively set-up and operate equipment within a die cast cell to ensure a quality product is produced and delivered that consistently satisfies or exceeds our customer's expectation.

Major Responsibilities of Position:

Maintains a safe and clean workplace

• The foundry goal is zero lost time accident and no housekeeping (audit) complaints. Quality Performance
• The foundry goal is zero discrepancies at the user plants, process checklists will be utilized to monitor and track process stability Uptime improvements
• The foundry goal is 90% equipment utilization. To maintain oxide levels that meet or exceed the standards specified by the customer. Scrap and material utilization
• Dross and other melt losses are to be weekly, target < 7.0% melt loss. Employee relations
• The foundry goal is to develop a team-based environment with cross-functional deployment wherever possible.

Each member will be expected to back up all other positions as required. To maintain grade 1 scrap feeding into the Remelt furnaces.
