Primary Purpose of Position To work within the Die Cast Department to efficiently and effectively set-up and operate equipment within a die cast cell to ensure a quality product is produced and delivered that consistently satisfies or exceeds our customer's expectation. Major Responsibilities of Position Every employee has the responsibility to comply with all safety rules, quality procedures and processes established by MPA Independently troubleshoot equipment or quality problems produced by the machine Assist maintenance, tool room and engineering personnel in the repair and continuous improvement activities Meet customer production schedules Achieve and maintain uptime targets Achieve and maintain acceptable scrap levels Maintain good communications with peers, function leaders and managers Work in cooperation with other departments to achieve business objectives Monitor and control the quality and process of the parts produced. Guide and direct the general duties working with you at your assigned machine/cell. Escalate all concerns to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor in a manner that supports a productive working environment. Work within the MIOSHA company rules and regulations. Knowledge of the company
