Mixer Operator

Job Title:

Mixer Operator Job Description Join our team as a Mixer Operator where you will be responsible for operating mixing machines that produce glues and sealants for commercial and residential windows. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage raw data entry and batch creation using a computer. You will also be responsible for handling materials using a sit-down forklift and ensuring quality checks are completed. Responsibilities Print batch mixing tickets and prepare material orders. Operate a forklift to transport materials from the staging area to the mixing machine. Follow batch tickets to properly mix ingredients, with physical lifting involved. Manage the mixing process and set up 50-gallon drums to catch the finished glue. Transport filled drums to the shipping area using a forklift. Complete data entry and quality checks in the computer system for each batch. Consistently follow the process for completing two batch orders per shift. Essential Skills 1+ year of manufacturing experience, with sit-down forklift experience preferred. Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Proficient in basic math skills. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Strong multitasking abilities. Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems (SAP preferred). Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude. Experience with chemical mixing and machine operation. General labor skills including material handling and picking. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a chemical mixing plant where lifting heavy weights of 50-75lbs is common. The industrial environment is loud, with machinery and forklifts in operation. The building can become extremely hot during summer, and wearing a long-sleeved shirt is mandatory. The current shift is 2pm-10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential changes to a 2/2/3 schedule from 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
