Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High school graduation or equivalency
Experience:
2-4 years of experience. Considerable previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.
Physical Demands:
The work requires heavy physical exertion. Forces exerted are equivalent to lifting between 25 and 50 pounds.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Arizona Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with additional endorsement and certification for assigned area of responsibility upon hire. Tell me more….. The City of Peoria is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join the Solid Waste Division. This position will have direct contact with City staff across all departments and divisions, as well as residents, schools, and other municipalities and businesses. The purpose of this position is to provide technical advice and act as a lead to Equipment Operators. Duties include but are not limited to performing a wide variety of advanced and specialized duties, providing technical guidance, assigning and monitoring work, and assisting staff with complicated and difficult assignments. The position will provide customer service support to internal and external customers, as well as the citizens of the City of Peoria.
