Job Description

Envirogen is a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and sustainable solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Plant Operator . As a Plant Operator , you will support the regeneration (chemical processing) of ion exchange resins used in water purification. These tasks include chemical batch operations, as well as other plant activities. In addition, you will document all media processing events and perform quality and assurance reviews.
Key duties:
Operates forklift to receive and move all materials, including tanks, resin, and chemicals used in the Process Department. Inspects tanks, identifies damage, and repairs cosmetic defects. Operates valves and other controls used to apply chemicals to resin and directs effluent waste to designated locations per documented regeneration processes. Monitors different meters, gauges, pressures, and other instrumentation during regeneration process. Performs quality assurance/quality control on regenerated resins through sampling and evaluation. Trouble shoot and perform minor repairs on equipment, informs maintenance technician of needed maintenance or repairs. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. CDL Minimum one (1) year experience in industrial or domestic water treatment preferred. Experience with liquid or chemical process operations preferred. Ability to drive a forklift. Must have experience using basic hand tools. Flexibility to support 2nd shift hours of operation.
