Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an LNG Plant Operator and become a vital part of the clean energy revolution! In this energetic role, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of liquefied natural gas processing facilities, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining rigorous safety standards. Your expertise will help facilitate the transportation and processing of natural gas, contributing to sustainable energy solutions worldwide. Responsibilities Operate and monitor LNG plant equipment, including compressors, pumps, valves, and distributed control systems (DCS), ensuring smooth plant operations. Conduct routine inspections of pipelines, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and heavy equipment to maintain operational integrity. Perform equipment repairs and troubleshooting using mechanical knowledge and technical skills to minimize downtime. Manage pipeline transportation processes, ensuring safe transfer of LNG from storage tanks to shipping vessels or distribution points. Adhere strictly to safety protocols by utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), following emergency response procedures, and maintaining a safe outdoor work environment. Support terminal operations by coordinating with team members during start-up, shutdown, or emergency situations; demonstrate emergency response readiness at all times. Assist in construction activities or heavy lifting tasks as needed during plant upgrades or maintenance projects. Qualifications Proven experience working in oil & gas, petrochemical processing facilities, or refining plants with a focus on LNG or similar energy sectors. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and performing equipment repairs. Familiarity with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience working in outdoor environments, including pipeline operations and terminal management. Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and PPE requirements essential for outdoor industrial work. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments in a complex facility setting. Construction experience or experience with pipeline transportation is highly desirable.
