Operator to join our dynamic shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and using equipment to bend and cut materials according to detailed specifications. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of metal components used in our production processes. Critical Responsibilities Operate press break equipment to produce materials according to specs Read and interpret drawings and other guidance documents accurately. Proper and safe use of hand tools such as clamps, blades and snipping tool Set up and adjust machinery accordingly Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or irregularities Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Qualifications Minimum of four (2) years working with sheet metal GED or High School Graduate Preferred. Work skillfully with tools, metals and machines. Understand, read blueprints and verbally communicate in English. Comply with all Advanced Hood Systems safety procedures. Ability to successfully complete a drug test and background check subject to applicable law as you will be dealing with confidential information Set up production equipment or machinery. Must be able to take direction, be accepting to change and strive for continuous improvement. Assemeble sheet metal equipment within the shop according to blueprints and specifications.
