Job Description

Press Brake Operator Location:
Crystal Lake area We are seeking experienced and entry-level Press Brake Operators to join our team. Candidates should have a basic understanding of press brake or panel bender operations, the ability to read blueprints, and experience using measuring tools.
Training:
2nd and 3rd shift operators will train on 1st shift for approximately 6-8 weeks .
Pay & Schedule Shift Hours:
1st Shift Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM $19.00/hr 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM $20.25/hr 3rd Shift Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM $21.75/hr Mandatory overtime on during the week & Saturdays may required. Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic understanding of press brake or panel bender operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring instruments. Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals. Basic computer skills. General understanding of tool changing and machine setup. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. CNC programming experience is a plus. Experience operating or setting up Press Brakes is beneficial. Key Responsibilities Operate hydraulic press brakes or folding machines, selecting and organizing the appropriate tooling. Read blueprints, set up machinery, and verify material thickness. Use calipers, tape measures, protractors, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. Work with the Team Lead and Supervisor to maintain accurate product output. Monitor product quality and promptly report machine problems or quality issues. Correctly label parts and maintain production records. Record production using RFGen . Communicate production goals with the supervisor and contribute to continuous improvements in quality and productivity. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Support a positive, team-oriented work environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50-60pounds. Ability to push or pull objects weighing up to 125 pounds . Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and handling materials. Ability to use hands and fingers, communicate verbally, and perform visual tasks requiring depth perception and adjustment of focus.
