Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled self-motivated Press Brake Operator to Join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be setting up the Press Brake machine to form sheet metal into various shapes. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, fabrication, blueprint reading, CNC machinery, and quality inspection.Role and Responsibilities General Expectations:
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all Cvi employees are expected to:- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and functions.

ISO 9001
Quality Management System (QMS) and perform duties as assigned. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks- Produce parts according to print specifications and scheduling requirements.
- Must be cognizant of how different materials react to pressure, heat, and shaping procedures.
- Inspect the materials produced for quality and conformance prior to the release to the end-users, correct any inconsistencies, or reject for non-conformance.
- Sets up the machine by maneuvering stops on the machine, changing tooling adjusts components.
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
- Use a CNC controller to input information into the machine.
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
- Checks height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
- Work with tight tolerances.
- Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
- Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.
- Perform spot inspections of parts.
- Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures.
- Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Check machine for defects and repair if necessary.
- Ensure the machine is calibrated and cleaned.
- Read drawings and blueprints.
- Remove all burrs and sharp edges from parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proficiency in operating Press Brake.
- 2+ years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing.
- Experience with Trumpf TruBend 3100 Machinery is preferred.
- Basic math skills.
- Regularly lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Good Attendance.
- Must be quality and detailed oriented as a Prees Brake Operator.
- Teamwork- Works well with team members and other departments.
- Reliable attendance and able to work overtime when needed.
- Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles.

- Regularly lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Noise level in the work environment is loud, hearing protection is required and provided.
