1st Shift 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and mechanical press brakes. Interpret and follow blueprints, work drawings. Perform basic CNC program edits for press brake operations, including adjustments to bend angles, positions, and sequences as needed. Calculate bend deductions and develop flat patterns to ensure accurate forming and final part dimensions. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, rules, combination squares, protractors, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision instruments. Inspect parts during and after production to confirm they meet quality standards and dimensional specifications. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience as a CNC Press Brake Operator. At least 1 year of setting up up a CNC Press Brake machine. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic work drawings. Proficiency using micrometers, calipers (including dial and digital), height gauges, and other precision measuring devices. Working knowledge of how to calculate bend deductions and flat patterns for press brake operations. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machining, assembly, inspection, and CNC mill operations. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, or willingness to be trained. Additional Skills & Qualifications Completion of a machining program from a technical school or similar training. is a + Experience with manual machining and CNC machining operations is a +. Familiarity with robotics welding, welding of various metals, and fabricating, forming, and finishing processes is a +. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aston, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
