Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Press Brake Operator and become a vital part of creating precision metal components for diverse industries. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with exceptional accuracy. Your expertise in CNC programming, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and measurement will ensure high-quality fabrication that meets strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining tools and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up and operate CNC press brake machines, ensuring precise bending according to technical drawings and specifications Measure finished parts using precision measurement instruments to verify conformance with quality standards Perform routine 5S of work area (i.e. maintenance, calibration, and safety checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance) Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving sheet metal forming, welding, and assembly Follow safety protocols diligently during machine operation and handling of materials to maintain a safe work environment Requirements Proven experience operating CNC press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for quality control purposes Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools and forming machines Ability to perform shop math calculations related to dimensions, angles, and material properties Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent attention to detail and precision measurement skills Ability to lift 50 lbs.
