Job Description

Press Brake Operator / TIG Welder (Houston, TX) We are currently seeking candidates for two full-time, direct-hire positions. Our facility, located in northwest Houston, has specialized in precision sheet metal fabrication since 1978. We serve a diverse range of industries including electronics, medical, food processing, and oilfield sectors, working primarily with light gauge aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, and plastics. Our production environment focuses exclusively on thin, light gauge materials. If you possess previous experience operating brakes on thin sheet metal or have performed TIG welding on light gauge aluminum and stainless steel, your skills are a perfect match for our requirements. Your Responsibilities Configure and operate press brakes to process light gauge sheet metal components. Ensure project accuracy by interpreting blueprints to select appropriate tooling and achieve precise bend angles and flange dimensions. Perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and copper materials. Operate spot welding equipment to assemble sheet metal parts. Maintain high production standards by verifying your own work using tape measures, calipers, and protractors. Ensure the final product is pristine by preventing dents, surface marks, or burn-through during fabrication. Manage workflow efficiency by following detailed job packets to keep production moving. Proven ability to handle thin sheet metal, as our shop does not involve heavy structural welding or plate work. Capability to interpret technical prints and extract necessary dimensions independently. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail, as thin materials highlight even minor errors. Reliable attendance and a commitment to maintaining consistent work hours. Ability to provide a clear history of your professional experience and the specific machinery you have operated.
