Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all fabricated parts meet strict quality standards and technical specifications. Duties Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Measure finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to quality standards. Adjust machine parameters as needed during production runs to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and troubleshooting on press brake equipment. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving sheet metal forming, welding, and assembly tasks. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, measuring devices, and personal protective equipment. Requirements Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with CNC programming and CNC laser cutting is highly desirable. Skilled in measurement techniques using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments for quality control. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper machine operation and safety protocol adherence. Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurement conversions and calculations related to forming processes. Basic understanding of other machining processes such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), stamping presses, and welding is a plus. Mechanical aptitude combined with strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
