The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of set-up procedures, hot forging, and cold forging techniques. This position plays a crucial role in producing high-quality aerospace-grade nuts and fasteners that meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain nut forming machines and equipment Perform hot and cold forging operations to produce aerospace-grade nuts and fasteners Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and production schedules Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain optimal performance Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on finished products Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes Maintain a clean and organized work area Document production data and maintain accurate records Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nut forming or related manufacturing role Proficiency in set-up procedures for nut forming machines Extensive knowledge of hot forging and cold forging techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and quality control Good communication and teamwork skills Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Detailed Responsibilities 1. Machine Set-up and Operation As a Nut Former, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various nut forming machines.
