Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate printing presses and various binding and cutting equipment to produce high-quality printed materials
• Monitor press performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal print quality
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep them in good working order
• Collaborate with prepress and design teams to ensure accurate reproduction of artwork and layouts
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and resolve any issues
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs when necessary
• Follow safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Press Operator and binding equip operator or similar role preferred
• Proficient in operating various types of printing presses and binding equipment (folders, cutters, sorters, perfing, laminating, etc.).
• Knowledge of color management techniques to achieve accurate color reproduction
• Familiarity with prepress processes, including layout design and file preparation
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, and production specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
• Experience with machining or fabrication is a plus Experience with the following machines is preferred.
