Die Cut Operator Shift:
3rd shift 9p-5aCareer Opportunity :
The Spartanburg, SC plant is seeking an experienced Die Cut Operator to join our production team for our second shift.How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock:
- Responsible for setting up the machine for the production run, sheets, dies, etc.
- Operate the machine, following all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job, position, and department accurately.
- Evaluate production quality and bring concerns to the appropriate lead or supervisor.
- Perform routine adjustments during the production run and maintain production throughout the run.
- Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations.
- Contribute to quality investigations when necessary.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous die cut experience and printing capability required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and management.
- Maintain good attendance.
