Operate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building procedures. Responsibilities Must be capable of following and meeting standard work requirements Must be able to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts, obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship-sets, etc. Set-up, adjust, and operate Multiple Spindle Automatic Screw Machines on a variety of parts, involving machining techniques such as setting attachments, turning, threading, recessing, boring, thread rolling, forming, shaving, reaming, etc. Must be capable of working from blueprints, operation sheets, or specifications in selecting cutting tools, gears, and cams Check one's own set-up using a variety of precision measuring instruments Make necessary adjustments to produce parts within close limits where finish requirements are difficult to maintain Check the parts produced with a variety of precision measuring instruments, and maintain tool and machine adjustments and sharpen and reset tool as required Be accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basis Promote positive teamwork Able to foster professionalism with all associates along with internal and external customers Ability to work overtime, including short-notice overtime and weekend coverage to meet business needs Qualifications High School diploma or GED Completion of a formal training program, such as V-TIP or equivalent with certificate of competency Minimum of 3-5 years of setting up and operating Multiple Spindle Screw Machine preferred Parker Hannifin Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
