• Sunday, 5PM
• 5AM Located in Manitowoc, WI Machine Operator We are currently seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join a local manufacturing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and is interested in gaining experience in a machine shop environment. The Machine Operator will assist with the operation of CNC equipment while helping ensure parts are produced accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC and other production equipment according to established procedures

Load and unload materials and parts from machinery

Monitor equipment during operation and recognize unusual sounds or potential issues

Use basic hand tools, shop equipment, and material-handling devices

Inspect completed parts using gauges and precision measuring instruments

Follow work instructions and production specifications

Complete required production and quality documentation

Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or discrepancies to supervision

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production goals #Manitowoc1

Requirements:

Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is helpful, but not required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Basic mechanical aptitude

Ability to perform basic math

Ability to read and follow written work instructions

Blueprint-reading experience is a plus

Comfortable using measuring tools and learning new equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Dependable and safety-conscious

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and move throughout an 8-12 hour shift

Regular bending, reaching, squatting, and stooping

Frequent use of hands to operate controls, gauges, tools, and handle parts

Ability to regularly lift approximately 25-30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
