AGRA is seeking a Finishing Foreman to lead our Finishing Department. In this role, you will oversee product preparation, setup, and painting operations while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and production goals are met. This is a hands-on leadership position that works closely with Production, Quality, and other department leaders to ensure products are completed to customer specifications and delivered on schedule. Plan labor, materials, paint, consumables, and equipment requirements for upcoming projects. Assign daily work based on production schedules, department priorities, and employee skill sets. Oversee product preparation, setup, and painting operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or assignments to meet production goals and customer commitments. Ensure all finishing processes meet company quality standards and customer specifications. Serve as the technical resource for finishing personnel and assist with troubleshooting production issues. Review work orders and blueprints to determine finishing requirements and sequence of operations. Train and coach employees on finishing procedures, equipment operation, quality expectations, and safety practices. Ensure required production documentation and paperwork are completed accurately. Coordinate routine maintenance schedules and report equipment repair needs. Monitor paint and thinner usage to support inventory control, purchasing, and environmental reporting requirements. Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Collaborate with department leaders and the Shop Superintendent to support production schedules and company objectives. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, workflow, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three years of experience in industrial painting, finishing, manufacturing, or a related field. Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, safety rules, procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions. Knowledge of industrial painting and finishing processes. Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing production demands. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production-related issues. Basic computer skills. Ability to work effectively with employees and departments across the organization.
