Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Printing Press Helper / Roll Tender to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of our printing press, ensuring smooth production. Your enthusiasm and precision will contribute to producing top-tier printed materials, supporting our reputation for quality and efficiency. Duties. This is an apprenticeship opportunity with plenty of room to excel in the company. Assist with the preparation and loading of paper rolls onto our Goss Community printing press, ensuring proper alignment and tension. You will be trained on press operations during production runs, adjusting settings as needed to maintain color accuracy and print quality. Perform quality control checks throughout the print process to identify defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments to uphold standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including safe operation of forklifts for material handling. Prior experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments, especially in print production or related fields. Any small flat sheet press operating experience is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent quality control skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
