Summary:
Operates an automatic screen print press with the purpose of screen printing single color and multi color designs on an assortment of garments by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Reads work order to determine type and location of screen print. Sets up and registers screens in screen print press. Selects hardness of squeegee for proper ink deposit. Verifies and loads the correct ink into the correct corresponding screen. Adjust & regulates flood bar and squeegee speed and pressure. Verifies correct board type and size based on art location and garment type and size. Performs test print and receives approval from customer service, art department, or supervisor. Loads and unloads garments insuring correct art placement and straightness. Repairs salvageable garments due to missing ink or out of registration. Inspects prints during operation, eliminating pin holes, streaks, or ink contamination. Other duties assigned.

Physical Demands:
The employee must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred but not required; Experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Basic computer skills.
