Operations Salary:
Top of market salary + equity Steadily is hiring a People Operations M anager. This is not a narrow, traditional HR role. We're a fast-growing company, and we like people who can own things, solve problems, and wear more than one hat. You'll help coordinate the people side of the business while also keeping the office operating smoothly day to day. You won't be forming any wellness committees or interest groups. That means HR, onboarding, benefits, licensing, IT support, and office operations. If something important needs to get done and no one else owns it yet, there's a good chance it lands with you. You'll report to the Director of Talent and work closely with leadership across the company. What you'll do Own the day-to-day HR function
  • Handle core HR operations including employee questions, manager support, time off, documentation, performance management support, leave administration, and offboarding. Run onboarding and offboarding
  • Make sure new hires are ready to go on day one; laptop configured, accounts set up, paperwork complete, smooth first-week experience. Handle clean, organized offboarding when needed. Own benefits administration
  • Help employees get enrolled, answer questions, coordinate open enrollment, and support renewals with brokers and vendors. Be the internal IT first line
  • Set up laptops, troubleshoot common issues, coordinate vendors when needed, and keep people productive. Manage licensing and renewals
  • Own licensing for team members who need it. Build systems to track renewals, continuing education, and deadlines so nothing slips. Run the office well
  • Keep the office stocked, organized, and functioning. Snacks, supplies, vendor coordination, catering, furniture, general upkeep; all the details that make the office work. Support leadership
  • Be a trusted operator for founders and leaders. Spot issues early, keep things moving, and help create order. Help scale the culture
  • Be a culture carrier. Help create a workplace where strong people enjoy showing up, working hard, and winning together. What you bring Relevant experience
  • 2+ years in HR, people ops, or a similar hands-on role. Experience in a fast-moving company is a plus. Strong HR fundamentals
  • Comfortable with compliance, employee relations basics, benefits administration, documentation, and knowing when to escalate. SHRM or similar certification is a plus. Tech savvy
  • You're highly comfortable with computers, software, and systems. Setting up laptops and troubleshooting common issues does not intimidate you. Highly organized
  • You build systems, stay ahead of deadlines, and keep track of many moving parts without dropping balls. Good judgment
  • You'll handle sensitive information. You know how to be discreet, professional, and trustworthy. Resourceful
  • You can figure things out quickly, find answers, and solve problems without needing constant direction. High ownership
  • You notice what needs attention and take care of it. Low ego, high hustle
  • You're excited to join a growing company, work hard, and grow quickly with it.
