Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Press Operator Helper and be a vital part of producing high-quality printed materials! In this energetic role, you will assist experienced press operators in preparing and maintaining printing presses, ensuring smooth operations across various printing processes. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional print advertising, packaging, and graphic design products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in industrial equipment, machine operation, and print production while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Support press operators by preparing printing materials, including paper loading and cutting to specifications Assist with machine setup, calibration, and adjustments for large-format printers, flexo presses, and digital printers Monitor printing processes to ensure color accuracy, quality control, and consistent output Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on printing equipment Interpret production documents and follow layout designs using prepress software and graphic design tools Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area to uphold safety standards Support quality assurance by inspecting printed materials for defects and ensuring adherence to client specifications Qualifications Basic understanding of printing processes including screen printing, digital printing, and flexo press operation Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus Knowledge of color management principles and typography for print production Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in machine adjustments and troubleshooting Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for interpreting production documents Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while following safety protocols Prior experience or training in manufacturing or print production is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their technical expertise in the vibrant world of print manufacturing.
