Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Screen Printer to join our team. As a Screen Printer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality prints on various materials using screen printing techniques. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail.

Duties:

Set up and operate screen printing equipment, including screen exposure units, presses, and dryers

• Prepare screens by coating them with emulsion and exposing them to UV light
• Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications
• Load screens onto the press and align them with precision
• Print designs onto various materials, such as apparel, signage, and promotional items
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure accurate and consistent results
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with the design team to review artwork and ensure it meets printing requirements.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Screen Printer or in a similar role is preferred

• Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques and processes
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with CAD software is a plus
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
• Ability to work with digital art files and prepare them for printing
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality prints consistently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
