Operate digital presses, maintain printing equipment, and manage orders for the District. DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES
Quality control- It is the digital press operator's responsibility to maintain high quality in the work produced.
EXPERIENCE
6 months of experience in digital press operation and routine maintenanceQUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High School graduateSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Digital press operation Mechanical ability Basic math Basic PC skills to process jobs promptly Ability to read and comprehend print order forms and order specifications accurately Ability to perform digital press set-up Ability to adjust as needed for quality prints Attention to detail, including color perception Ability to understand/follow oral and written instructions Ability to work well with others Effective organizational skills Excellent communication/telephone skills Ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of work Adaptable to changing environment Able to function successfully in a demanding/high pressure environmentCONTACT INFORMATION

Walking:
move about on foot, carrying: transporting objects by hand, crouching: bending body downward and forward by bending the knees and spine, climbing: ascending and descending stairs, lifting: able to lift a 55 pound case of paper, kneeling: bending legs at the knees to come to rest on the knees, pulling: exerting force upon an object so the object moves toward the force (including jerking), pushing: exerting force upon an object to the object moves away from force, reaching: ability to extend hands and arms in any direction, bending: ability to move at the waist downward and upward with reasonable mobility.
