Job Title:
Corrugated Machinery Operator Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Corrugated Machinery Operator with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the corrugated packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating a 3-color rotary die cutter and a flexo folder gluer, ensuring high-quality production, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up a 3-color rotary die cutter and flexo folder gluer to produce corrugated packaging products according to specifications. Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Monitor production quality, ensuring products meet customer requirements and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues during production runs. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain workflow efficiency. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Accurately document production data, including output, downtime, and material usage. Assist in training junior operators or team members as needed.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in the corrugated packaging industry. Proven expertise in operating a 3-color rotary die cutter and flexo folder gluer. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Knowledge of corrugated board types, printing processes, and quality control standards. Ability to read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in manufacturing is a plus. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
