Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the printing industry, is seeking a Press Assistant to join their team. As a Press Assistant, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the flexographic printing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
5am-5pm Training Monday to Thursday on 12's - moving to 2-2-3 schedule What's the Job? Support the primary flexographic press operator with setup and operation of printing presses to ensure high-quality output. Perform quality inspections, including color matching, coating application, and surface defect checks to meet customer specifications. Assist in mounting, remounting, and adjusting printing plates and machine components for optimal print quality. Maintain production records and equipment logs accurately and efficiently. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of safety equipment, and perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Ability to pass a color perception test. One to three years of flexographic press operation or related experience preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as EPICOR.
