Job Duties Install manufactured kits and components onto new heavy equipment for custom applications. Follow detailed work instructions, assembly procedures, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installations. Perform proper torque procedures for bolts, hydraulic hoses, and fittings according to manufacturer specifications. Work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems commonly found in heavy equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Use hand tools, air tools, and shop equipment to complete assembly tasks. Collaborate with team members or work independently to complete projects efficiently. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards. Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality. Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred. Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial. Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as an Assembler. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment. Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
