Martinez, CA Job Details Full-time $21 - $23 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Lift truck English High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Manufacturing Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Assembler/Shop Manager Job Opening Assemblers must have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail. Their function is to ensure that all parts and products under their care are in proper working order and meet the quality standards of the company and industry. The day to day tasks of Assemblers tend to be field-specific, but most often include working with a variety of tools and machinery to make and/or repair products and parts for distribution. Additional training will be provided in order to help employee understand industry processes and standards. The ideal candidate works well with others to make sure only the highest quality products are received by our customers.
Assembler Responsibilities:
Use tools to make or repair parts and products. Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions. Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products. Keep a clean and organized workspace. Meet all safety requirements of the company Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures. Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise. In accordance with the production workload, check inventory, when required to ensure production delays do not occur. Forklift certification is a plus
Assembler Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED Attention to detail Excellent hand-eye coordination Skilled with mechanics Ability to lift at least 60 lbs. Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors Must have good English communication skills (both verbal & written) 1+ year assembly experience preferred Work efficiently with minimal supervision Fire extinguisher service background a plus Motorsports/Automotive racing knowledge preferred Work Schedule • Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm)
