Job Description

Our client, an electronics manufacturing company, is looking for a Solderer to join their team in Moorpark, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and reworking components on printed circuit boards to strict quality and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble SMT and TH components on various types of printed circuit boards using hand-held soldering stations Rework and install fine pitch components under microscope magnification Identify component types and polarities Read and utilize Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings Keep work area clean and free of all non-essential tools and components Understand and adhere to
ESD & ISO
procedures Solder both RoHS and Non-RoHS components Ensure quality of work/product is maintained to standards Perform solder touch-ups as needed Apply knowledge of IPC-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) and
IPC-7711
(Rework of Electronic Assemblies) Follow process on travelers and provide input for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred 2+ years of experience soldering PCBAs preferred Experience with IPC-610 and
IPC-7711
required IPC certification (current or previous) ideally preferred Experience using hot air rework stations Comfortable working under microscope magnification Must be able to understand, speak, and read English, and clearly articulate any issues that arise while working on a PCBA Must pass a soldering test as part of the hiring process

4/10 schedule, Monday•Thursday, 6:00 AM•4:30
