Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Line Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our production process, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude will help drive continuous improvement and support the smooth flow of manufacturing activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-volume production in a fast-paced facility dedicated to excellence. Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and technical drawings to assemble components accurately. Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to move materials safely within the production area. Interpret manufacturing documents, process instructions, and technical drawings to ensure proper assembly procedures. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure products meet specifications before passing to the next stage. Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety standards in production environments. Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and supporting lean manufacturing practices. Skills Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and operate various hand and power tools. Experience with forklift operation is preferred; certification is a plus. Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and production document interpretation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail when using measuring instruments and performing quality inspections.
