Job Description
Professional Search Group seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wire Harnes Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical wire harnesses used in various electronic applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment, ideally in the Automotive, Defense or Aerospace industries. You will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met. This is a long-term contract position through Professional Search Group Responsibilities Assemble wire harnesses according to specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret work instructions, wire lists, parts lists, and bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure correct configuration and routing of wires within harnesses. Cut, strip, crimp, terminate, and solder wires and cables using hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment. Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely within the manufacturing facility. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process and report them to supervisors. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in wire harness or cable assembly a must. High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Strong knowledge of
IPC/WHMA-A-620
standards. Familiarity with aerospace materials, connectors (e.g., MIL-spec), and tooling. Must pass background and drug screening and be a legal resident of US. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Must be able to lift and move materials as required for assembly tasks.Pay:
