Full Job Description Job Title:

Production Assembler 1

Shift:

1st shift : M-F 5:00am•1:30pm or 2nd

Shift:

M-Th 3:30pm•2:00am 2nd

Shift Duration:

6-month with possible extension

Location:

Simi Valley, CA 93063

Experience Required:

1-2 years (no sewing experience needed)

Aerospace experience, leadership experience Job Summary The Production Assembler I performs routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts under established instructions and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities Assemble small mechanical/electromechanical components per work instructions. Review shop travelers or simple schematics for correct sequence of operations. Handle tiny parts (ceramic boards, crystals, pins, solder particles, etc.) under a microscope using tweezers and fixtures. Bend, align, and solder fine wires; apply epoxies and perform bonding/sealing operations. Conduct in-process testing and follow all safety policies. Maintain consistent attendance; overtime or weekends may be required. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years assembly or related experience. Good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and basic math skills. Ability to read/interpret manufacturing documents and operate hand tools/light machinery. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
