Mystic Powerboats is looking for an experienced Boat Rigger who knows how to build boats the right way. We manufacture high-performance fiberglass boats where quality, craftsmanship, electrical knowledge, and attention to detail matter . We are looking for someone who can step into a production environment,work with minimal supervision, and produce clean, professional installations. This is not just an assembly position. We need someone with strong mechanical ability who understandsmarine rigging, 12-volt electrical systems, fiberglass boats, and high-quality fit and finish.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Rig and assemble high-performance fiberglass boats from production through final completion. Install marine engines, controls, steering systems, batteries, pumps, and related equipment. Install and troubleshoot 12-volt marine electrical systems . Route and terminate wiring for switches, gauges, lighting, pumps, accessories, and electronics. Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical problems using a multimeter. Install fuel lines, plumbing, hoses, pumps, and related systems. Install seats, hatches, panels, hardware, trim, accessories, and other finished components. Measure, drill, cut, and modify fiberglass for component installation. Perform detailed fit and finish work to ensure components fit correctly and look professional. Use marine sealants, adhesives, fasteners, and installation hardware correctly. Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and installation issues. Inspect your own work and make sure installations are clean, secure, functional, and finished to ahigh standard. Maintain an organized and professional work area.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want someone who can think, troubleshoot, and take pride in their work .
The right candidate:
Has strong mechanical aptitude. Understands basic marine electrical systems. Can use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical issues. Is comfortable working with fiberglass boats. Can accurately measure before drilling or cutting. Knows the difference between simply installing a component and installing it correctly, cleanly, and professionally . Pays attention to wiring routing, hardware placement, alignment, sealing, and overall appearance. Can work independently without needing constant supervision. Takes responsibility for the quality of their work. Shows up consistently and is ready to work. Works well with other members of the production team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be able to: Work inside boats and confined areas. Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday. Regularly use hand and power tools. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Work in a fiberglass boat manufacturing environment. Wear required PPE and follow company safety procedures.
